What were you watching when the television news broke into their broadcasts to announce that the President had an important announcement to make shortly? NFTF was watching an NBC interview with Steven Tyler. The interview was proving to be quite informative and interresting when it was cut off due to the announcement. Steven Tyler looked very good and was very animated and chatty. He let us know that he was the one that wrote and sang “Dream On.” Really? NFTF did not know this. NFTF has always liked this song, but never knew to whom it was attributed. In addition, Steven Tyler pushed his new book “Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?: A Rock N’ Roll Memoir” which sounds interesting to say the least. Does anyone really want to read about someones drug addled escapades such as falling of a stage while performing in 2009? Not sure if spending $17.95 on Amazon for this journal of excess is NFTF’s cup of java…times are tough ya know. NFTF has added “Dream On” to it’s list of videos on Facebook’s “My Music” selections and you can see for yourselves how cool this tune is. Steven Tyler was still young when he wrote this ditty, but he sounds much older and wiser than his years. It’s nice to see Steven Tyler doing well these days on American Idol and has gotten a lot of attention from TMZ. In addition, Steven Tyler does not seem to be fazed by the fact that he didn’t get the “gig” as frontman for the reformation of legendary rockers Led Zeppelin. All in a day’s work of rock N’ roll we suppose.
